The Edward Teller Education Center (ETEC) is a Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) and University of California Davis School of Education (UCDSOE) collaborative. ETEC was established to provide K-14 teacher professional development around science, math, engineering and technology (SMET). ETEC benefits from the vast scientific resources available at LLNL and the academic expertise of U.C. Davis School of Education. This partnership leverages these resources to provide teachers with a continuum of professional development enabling a teacher to progress from novice to mastery in a scientific discipline through a standards aligned curriculum.
