SupportersBABEC was collectively founded in response to the growing fiscal and logistic needs of the local partnerships and leverages partnership expertise to consolidate activities, reduce expenses, expand funding opportunities, and extend our network to similarly motivated educational and industrial individuals and organizations. We are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and staffed by volunteers who believe our professional development model for teacher support has produced significant systemic change in the science programs of schools and teachers working with us. Funding is derived from grants and individuals, foundations, and corporations.
